Privacy Policy
Last updated · 24 June 2026
This policy explains what data AdsWaves collects, why, and the rights you have over it. We keep it short and plain because that is how it should be.
Who we are
AdsWaves is a digital marketing studio based in Sliema, Malta. For anything about your data, write to hello@ads-waves.com. We are the data controller for the information described below.
What we collect
We only collect what you send us. When you email us or fill in a contact request, we receive your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to write, plus a phone number if you add one. We do not buy contact lists and we do not collect data about you in the background.
Cookies and tracking
We place non-essential cookies only after you agree. On your first visit a banner lets you accept or reject; until you accept, no marketing cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with the button below.
If you accept, we load the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland to measure our advertising and reach people who have visited us. It sets cookies such as _fbp and tells Meta which pages you view and actions like contacting us or opening the booking tool. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw whenever you like.
If you accept, we also use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland) to see in aggregate how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and where traffic comes from. It sets cookies such as _ga and does not log raw IP addresses. The legal basis is your consent.
If you accept, we also use Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland) to understand how pages are used through aggregated heatmaps and session replays, which helps us improve the site. Clarity masks the text you type by default and sets its own cookies. The legal basis is your consent.
Whatever you choose, the site keeps your chosen language locally in your browser so it is remembered next time. This is essential to how the site works, never reaches our servers, and is not used to profile you.
Third parties
Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which may process your IP address to deliver them. If you accept, the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity described above also load, from Meta, Google and Microsoft. We will list any new tool here before turning it on.
Why we are allowed to hold your data
When you contact us, we handle your message to reply and, if it goes that way, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is your request and our legitimate interest in answering it. If we ever want to send you marketing, we will ask for your consent separately, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.
How long we keep it
We hold enquiry messages for as long as we need them to follow up, and for any period the law requires for tax or accounting once you become a client. After that we delete them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- see the data we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
- limit or object to how we use it
- receive a copy in a portable format
Email hello@ads-waves.com and we will act on it. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta at idpc.org.mt.
