Where East Meets the Mediterranean Fejn il-Lvant Jiltaqa' mal-Mediterran

NAMI was born from a simple belief: that the purest flavours emerge when tradition meets terroir. Our name means "wave" in Japanese — a nod to the sea that connects Malta to the world. NAMI twieled minn twemmin sempliċi: li l-aktar toghmiet puri joħorġu meta t-tradizzjoni tiltaqa' mat-terroir. Isimna jfisser "mewġa" bil-Ġappuniż — referenza għall-baħar li jgħaqqad lil-Malta mad-dinja.

Since 2019, our chefs have honoured centuries of Japanese technique while embracing the extraordinary produce of these islands — wild-caught fish from Marsaxlokk, sea salt from Gozo, herbs from Dingli Cliffs. Mill-2019, ix-chefs tagħna onoraw sekli ta' teknika Ġappuniża filwaqt li abbraccjaw il-prodott straordinarju ta' dawn il-gżejjer — ħut maqbud minn Marsaxlokk, melħ tal-baħar minn Għawdex, ħxejjex mill-Irdum ta' Ħad-Dingli.
